System Architect

Im currently seeking an experienced System Architect for a long-term project with a leading IT consultancy. This individual will lead a SAFe Agile release Train focused on a Cloud Transformation project.

This is an initial 6-month contract with extension as part of a multi-year project.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ART (Agile Release Train): Oversee cloud migration within the SAFe framework.
• Cloud Architecture and Strategy: Develop scalable, secure cloud architecture aligned with business goals.
• Design and Implementation: Design and integrate cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) with existing systems.
• Collaboration: Work with Agile teams to break down tasks into executable features.
• Continuous Improvement: Evaluate new technologies and improve cloud strategies.
• Compliance and Security: Ensure cloud environments meet security and compliance standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• 10 years in IT architecture and cloud technologies.
• Experience leading ART in SAFe framework.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, GCP, and cloud migration.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with microservices, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), serverless computing.
• Experience with security best practices and compliance standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC 2).
• Proven success in large-scale cloud transformation projects.
