Business Analyst - Logfile Management

As the leading telecommunications and IT service provider in the Netherlands, KPN, is seeking a talented and dedicated Business Analyst to join its dynamic team.

This position plays a key role in advancing KPN’s Logfile Management initiatives within the KPN Data Services Hub. The role focuses on cutting-edge streaming data architectures and supports Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) capabilities.

As part of a product that operates 24/7, the Business Analyst will ensure operational reliability, drive process efficiency, and foster innovation for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for customers, partners, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and relationship management.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog management, sprint planning, and Scrum rituals.
• Develop high-level designs and solution proposals for Logfile Management by collaborating with clients to understand their needs and objectives.
• Manage onboarding projects for new data sources and customers, ensuring timely and successful implementation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows.
• Provide continuous support to customers and internal teams, addressing inquiries and resolving challenges effectively.
• Contribute to service and process enhancements by providing proactive feedback and driving improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in business analysis, project management, and customer relationship management.
• Strong knowledge of streaming technologies, particularly Kafka, and familiarity with data architecture concepts such as Data Mesh.
• Experience in refining operational processes within a DevOps framework.
• Familiarity with Logfile Management and security tools like SOC-SIEM / XDR is highly desirable.
• Strong teamwork and mentoring skills, with a focus on fostering diversity and inclusion.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; Dutch proficiency is a strong advantage.
